DAMN! Ezra Koenig backed Kendrick Lamar at the Grammys
The Vampire Weekend frontman and professional Indie Dreamboat revealed that this year he was a voter at the awards.
Ezra Koenig has revealed that he was a voter for the first time at the 2018 Grammy awards. Along with a load of other ‘Recording Academy Voting Members’ (ooer) the Vampire Weekend frontman helped decide this year’s nominees by casting votes for his favourite musicians and albums.
Speaking on his Beats1 show Time Crisis, Ezra said that he backed Kendrick Lamar’s latest album ‘DAMN.’ for the Album of the Year gong, as well as voting for Lil Uzi Vert’s XO TOUR Llif3’ in multiple categories.
On the show he also spoke about the nominations as a whole, and his take on Grammy politics having being a voter this year. Listen to the whole episode here.
