Fall Out Boy release new ‘Lake Effect Kid’ EP
The EP - “our love letter to Chicago” - was originally shared back in 2008.
Back in 2008, Fall Out Boy released a demo called ‘Lake Effect Kid’ via Pete Wentz’s Decaycance label as a part of their ‘CitizensFOB Mixtape: Welcome To The New Administration’ release, shared as part of a marketing campaign in the run-up to the their ‘Folie À Deux’ LP.
‘Lake Effect Kid’ has since become a fan-favourite, and has now been given a full release!
The title track is joined on the new release by new songs ‘Super Fade’ and ‘City In A Garden’.
In addition to the release of the new EP, the band have shared a video for ‘City In A Garden’, bringing together a ton of tour footage.
Fall Out Boy headline this weekend’s Reading & Leeds Festivals.
