Fall Out Boy to play MTV Movie Awards
Their ‘Immortals’ featured on the soundtrack to Big Hero 6.
Fall Out Boy have been confirmed to perform at this year’s MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.
The event - which takes place on 12th April - is to be hosted by comedian Amy Schumer, with all the usual awards joined by categories such as ‘Best kiss’, ‘Best scared-as-shit performance’, and ‘Best on-screen transformation’ (we think Ellar Coltrane is sort of cheating for his part in the last one).
Other ‘famous types’ due to appear at the awards include Jessie J (hosting the ‘red carpet’ coverage, bafflingly), Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Vin Diesel, Rebel Wilson, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Shailene Woodley, who will be given the already-decided ‘MTV Trailblazer Award’.
