Family Video preview new album with ‘She Reminds Me’ track

Vancouver band Family Video consists of Jam King (guitars/vocals) and Jeff Johnson. Their new LP, ‘Maybe This Summer’, is gaining a 1st September release on UK label GoldFlakeTapes, and it’s being led with an impassioned, sun-blazed new track ‘She Reminds Me’.

The track itself doses up on memories, however scattered and nondescript. Past relationships, a summer spent falling in love for the first time; there’s a rush of energy and emotion that spills out in 3 fizzing minutes. It’s all led by King’s vocals, which jolt into action without a moment’s notice, upping the anti on Family Video’s already intense style of expression.
