More new Father John Misty! Listen to ‘Two Wildly Different Perspectives’
Josh Tillman’s new record comes out in April.
Father John Misty confirmed his new album ‘Pure Comedy’ last week, along with sharing the six-minute-epic-fest of a title-track. Out on April 7th, Josh Tillman’s wasted no time whatsoever in teasing another preview of things to come; this time in the shape of equally plaintive ‘Two Wildly Different Perspectives’.
It’s a bit like our FJM has morphed into a distant version of Elton John, pounding out those emotive piano-lines like there’s no tomorrow, and singing morosely of the fairly shitty state of current world events. “More kids are going to die now thanks to the unbelievably selfish immigration policy of places like Saudi Arabia and the USA,” wrote Tillman in the video’s description, posting the morning after protestors took to streets across the world to protest Donald Trump’s immigration order.
