Father John Misty says his new album is already written
Josh Tillman promises more music on the horizon, but not just yet.
Father John Misty has stated in an interview that the follow-up to his recently release ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ has already been written.
Speaking to NME, Josh Tillman said that following his well-received February release he now has “no interest in writing about love any more - I’m worn out of it.” He then went further and confirmed a new album is written and that two tracks on ‘I Love You, Honeybear’, ’Bored In The U.S.A’ and ‘Holy Shit’ are indicative of his new material:
“I don’t want to confuse the issue here [but] writing about intimacy afforded me an unexpected level of clarity and turning that perspective outward is essentially what the next album is all about.”
