Father John Misty shares 13 minute video for ‘Leaving LA’
It’s your lucky day, fans of incredibly long black and white music videos.

If you’ve been waiting for a 13 minute video of Father John Misty performing his “10-verse chorus-less diatribe” ‘Leaving LA’ in sultry black and white, well, today is your lucky day.
Papa John has shared exactly this, providing a visual to the ‘Pure Comedy’ cut. Along with some in the studio performance from the bearded man himself, there’s also a string orchestra, a conductor, and lots of arty aerial shots to boot. Lovely stuff.
Meanwhile,FJM has given a recent update on that new album of his; set to contain some ‘interesting’ song titles, and an uncharacteristic lack of cynicism.
So, settle in, make yourself a cuppa, and watch Father John Misty’s new 13 minute music video - filmed and edited by Grant James - below.
