Fear Of Men Announce Debut Album, ‘Loom’

Brighton nostalgists are streaming two tracks from the record, ‘Atla’ & ‘Waterfall’.

Brighton’s Fear of Men have followed up a snippet of a teaser with two new songs, ‘Atla’ and ‘Waterfall’. Both act as the opening double salvo on their long-awaited debut album ‘Loom’.

Jessica Weiss and co release ‘Loom’ on 21st in the UK (22nd April in the US via Kanine Records). Their last release was ‘Early Fragements’, a smartly-formed bringing together of early singles and offcuts. ‘Loom’ will also gain a separate, deluxe two-colored vinyl edition for this year’s Record Store Day.

Back to the songs: ‘Atla’ is a sparsely arranged, gorgeous number that begs ‘show me there’s a world outside,’ with ‘Waterfall’ linking in seamlessly, the two essentially acting as one giant juggernaut that commands attention from the off.

The artwork for ‘Loom’ was put together by the band themselves, as you can see here.
