Pleasure seeker:
Feist gets warped in the video for ‘Pleasure’
She’s also announced a whole host of tour dates across North America and Europe.
Almost a month on from releasing her raw, powerful comeback
single, Feist has shared a warped new video for ‘Pleasure.’
Directed by Mary Rozzi, the lo-fi visuals are sparse,
depicting Leslie Feist performing in a slightly darkened room, but completely
bending the images as if looking at her through a fun house mirror. As such, it’s
strangely balances elegance and uninhibited distortion, a fitting accompaniment
to the looseness of the track itself.
As well as sharing the video, Leslie has also announced a
massive run of tour dates taking place across North America and Europe. Kicking
off in Ontario this month, she’s playing multiple dates in Mexico City, Los
Angeles, Boston, Chicago and New York as well as a few dates at American and
Canadian cities in-between.
This summer, she comes to Europe to play a string of
festivals, including Oya, Way Out West, OFF, Haven and Brussels Summer
Festival. She’s also apparently got more dates in the works. See her full (very
extensive!) itinerary so far here.
