Norwegian soul collective Fieh share retro video for the dazzling ‘25’
The eight-piece, signed to Decca Records, will release a debut album later this year.
The latest signings to Decca Records are Fieh, an eight-piece soul collective from Oslo.
Formed by vocalist Sofie Tollefsbøl, the collective have been honing their sound for the last five years, and this toil comes bursting out beautifully in debut single ‘25’, which we’re sharing the video for on DIY today.
The smooth, soulful cut has a collaborative, community-led feel to it, and that sense of togetherness is ramped up in its video, although in slightly creepy ways.
A retro, sepia-tinged clip, the video circles around a scene in some kind of holiday home, but gets a little strange when one new member of the group is inducted by being branded and then presented with a guitar. All is harmonious by the end though, when he shreds a guitar solo to end the track.
Watch the ‘25’ video below. Fieh are set to release their debut album later this year.
