Field Day confirms Aphex Twin to headline new Barn stage
The East London bash is shrinking back down to a one-dayer.
East London festival Field Day has confirmed Aphex Twin as the first act for its 2017 edition.
After teasing the announcement at this weekend’s Independent Label Market in Spitalfields, the producer’s been penned in as headlining the festival’s new Barn Stage, “a giant metal construction that will host major electronic performances with cutting-edge lighting and sound.” Sounds futuristic.
The producer’s first UK show proper in almost a decade, Field Day 2017 is also set to see the fest consolidate down to a one-day event on June 3rd. Tickets are on sale from 9am on 1st December from right here.
