Fine Print share new track ‘Can’t Lie’

London-based duo Fine Print have shared a new track, as taken from their upcoming debut self-titled EP.

Mixed by Dan Carey (Tame Impala and Hot Chip), the ‘Fine Print’ EP will be released on 28th August through B3SCI Records, and includes the duo’s recently-shared ‘About You’.

Originally showcased as a demo in late 2014, ‘Can’t Lie’ is another smooth jam centred around soulful falsettos, horns and guitar flecks. Speaking about the track, Fine Print have said:

“Before we started on ‘Can’t Lie’ we had been having quite long conversations about the hip hop we loved. Especially the dusty sounding productions from people like Buckwild, MF Doom, Madlib and of course Dilla. While vocally referencing people like Cornell and Curtis Mayfield. As soon as we nailed the bass line on the chorus we felt we had something special to work with, and things fell into place pretty naturally after that.”
