Fixers Announce Tour, Release New Video

Oxford group anticipate debut album release.

Fixers have announced a full headline tour scheduled for May and early June, along with a support stint following Kaiser Chiefs during Feb.

As a pre-cursor to this, they’ve also released a new video for single ‘Iron Deer Dream’ - which you can watch above.

The band had this to say about the vid:

‘There is a novel titled Kangaroo Notebook by a Japanese author named Kobo Abe. It tells the story of a man who wakes up to find himself sprouting radishes from his armpits - I wasn’t even aware of this novel when the Iron Deer Dream video idea was devised. We simply wanted to do something absurdist and surreal, something that flourished in the abstract whilst keeping a level of comedy and demented angst. I always saw the elderly man’s ailment as a rather direct metaphor for my breakfast cereal addiction too…’

The Oxford five-piece will release their debut album ‘We’ll Be The Moon’ on the 14th May, after releasing the aforementioned new single next month.
