FLO drop surprise EP ‘3 Of Us’ ahead of Wireless performance this weekend

The vocal-perfect girl group are going from strength to strength.

Winners of both the BRITs Rising Star Award and the BBC Sound of 2023, pop power trio FLO are on course for a huge summer of festivals, performing at London’s Wireless, Japan’s Summersonic, and California’s Lights On, among others.

This week has seen them share a surprise mini-EP entitled ‘3 Of Us’, featuring an eponymous lead track as well as new cuts ‘Change’ and ‘Control Freak’. It’s their first release since top 40 hit ‘Fly Girl’ (feat. Missy Elliot), and comes following their debut Glastonbury performance on Worthy Farm’s Woodsies stage.

Of ‘3 Of Us’, FLO say: “Written last year, this was our take on ‘The Boy is Mine’ by icons Brandy and Monica. It was so fun to write with MNEK again as he always understands our vision. We got to live our 90s love triangle fantasy!”. Speaking about the latter tracks, the group share that “[they] wrote these two songs last year and thought they would be a great addition to our set list for our debut shows! We were overjoyed with the reception they received throughout our North American tour and thought it’s only right we give the fans what they deserve!”.
