Florence + The Machine perform stripped-down ‘What Kind Of Man’ on Colbert
Hit single was given a re-work for The Late Show.
Florence + The Machine took to The Late Show this week to perform a new, stripped-back version of ‘What Kind Of Man’.
The hit single from this year’s ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ became a shivery, cold number, with Florence Welch’s voice soaring even higher when accompanied by just minimal instrumentation.
The telly performance came in the middle of a US tour that runs until the end of October, before Florence and band head to Australia and then mainland Europe before the end of the year. The band also recently finished their biggest UK tour to date, which included four - FOUR - nights at London’s Alexandra Palace. Read the DIY review of the third night here.
With this year’s festival season feeling barely over, Florence + The Machine have already been announced to headline next year’s Open’er Festival in Poland.
