Blimey - talk about a dream team. Flying Lotus, Thundercat and Shabazz Palaces have combined to form a new project, WOKE.
Debut track ‘The Lavishments of Light Looking’ is slick as it gets. A trip to the three acts’ future-universe, it combines the dizzying pulse of Shabazz with FlyLo’s funk-nodding production. George Clinton also appears on the track - small fare, then.
