Foals announce last-minute Reading 2015 set

Foals have self-confirmed themselves for a last-minute set at this year’s Reading Festival.

One day on from the release of fourth album ‘What Went Down’, they’ll be playing this afternoon (Foals reps have confirmed a time of 1.30pm) on the NME/Radio 1 Stage - they confirmed their appearance with a tweet showing frontman Yannis Philippakis outside the tent.

This past week has seen Foals playing last-minute and intimate shows around the country, as well as sharing tape versions of their new album for a worldwide treasure hunt. Yesterday they played a tiny London Rough Trade East instore, and last Tuesday they arrived at London’s Village Underground for an intimate pre-album gig.

Day two at Reading also features sets from Bring Me The Horizon, Wolf Alice, Rat Boy and headliners Metallica.
