Yannis & The Yaw announce UK headline shows
The collaborative project will take to the stage in Manchester, Bristol, and London this December.

Yannis & The Yaw - the musical project born out of the collaboration between Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis’ and the legendary late drummer Tony Allen - have announced a trio of UK headline performances set to take place this December.
The new dates follow the release of Yannis & The Yaw’s debut EP ‘Lagos Paris London’, which arrived back in August, and also come in the wake of the band’s recent live shows in (confusingly) Amsterdam, Paris, and London.
This time around, Yannis - along with ‘The Yaw’, aka Vincent Taurelle (keys), Vincent Taeger (drums), Dave Okumu (guitar, The Invisible), Seye Adelekan (bass, Gorillaz) and Kit Monteith (percussion, synths) - will bring their Afrobeats-inspired party to Manchester and Bristol, before returning to the capital for a turn at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, the grand finale of Transgressive’s ongoing 20th anniversary celebrations.
Speaking about the upcoming dates, Yannis has said: “It’s a joy to continue the journey of The Yaw, shaking up the kaleidoscope again at some more shows. Can’t wait to see you there.”
Tickets for the below dates are set to go on sale at 9am on Friday 25th October here.
