Yannis & The Yaw share new live album ‘Onstage’
The new six-track record is out now digitally, and will be released on vinyl this November.

Nearly a year on from the release of their debut EP ‘Lagos Paris London’, Yannis & The Yaw have released a brand new live album, titled ‘Onstage’.
The six-track record is compiled of performances from their Paris and Amsterdam live shows, which took place late last year, and feature some of the track’s taken from the EP, which was written by Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis and the late Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen.
As well as Yannis himself, ‘Onstage’ also features EP collaborators Vincent Taurelle and Vincent Taeger, alongside Dave Okumu, Seye Adelekan, and Kit Monteith (who doubles as the visual collaborator on the project). Alongside track from the EP itself, ‘Onstage’ also included a cover of Tony Allen’s ‘Afrodisco Beat’ (from his 1979 record ‘Progress, Jealousy’), as well as a brand new tracked titled ‘3’.
Digitally released last Friday (1st August), it’s already available across streaming services, but will also be released as a double gatefold black vinyl on 14th November via Transgressive Records. Check out the tracklisting, and stream the album, below.
