Foals Announce ‘Tapes’ Mix CD

We were all starting to miss Foals. It has, after all, been two years since the release of the Oxford band’s second album ‘Total Life Forever’. But now it would seem the band are making a return, after this tweet appeared on Foal’s twitter feed:

THIS IS TO SAY we’re releasing a mix cd on k7 this july! it’s going to be rad. and here’s the cover. by tinhead. twitter.com/foalsfoalsfoal…

Details about the new release are scant, with only artwork and a quick explanation of the name to go on. ‘It’s called TAPES. cos it’s like a tape. only it’s a cd. que?’ say Foals. Que indeed. The release will apparently drop on July 2nd.
