Watch Foals play ‘Cassius’ at Reading 2016
The band had previously sidelined the breakthrough single for nearly five years.
Last night, Foals headlined Reading Festival 2016 - a moment that was every bit as triumphant as it always threatened to be.
Excitingly, the band used the mammoth platform to reinvigorate ‘Cassius’, a track that they haven’t played since way back in 2011, bar a smattering of test runs at smaller shows this summer.
A fan favourite (and one that’s constantly called for at Foals shows across the world), it was played as part of the band’s encore, sandwiched between ‘What Went Down’ and ‘Two Steps, Twice’. Watch footage of Foals playing ‘Cassius’ below, and catch up with our report from Foals’ headline set.
