Foals guest on Kids Interview Bands

Joining a brave legion of bands including Chvrches and Metz, Foals are the latest group brave enough to face the Kids Interview Bands series. Walter and Yannis met interviewer Piper in Ohio, and according to the series’ website, the chat had to be moved around several times so that Piper could go to a sleepover. A particular highlight is Piper casually mentioning that she’s met one of Walter’s favourite bands, Foreigner.

Grilled on everything from their favourite numbers to their favoured supermarket shopping techniques - “I forage,” Yannis says - the Foals frontman also shares the rather devastating tale of how his childhood pet, a gerbil named Rumple (short for Rumpelstiltskin) passed away. “It was a peaceful death,” added Walter.
