Foals hitch-hiked their way to The BRITs in a pizza delivery driver’s car
They were running a bit late. Needs must.
The BRITs might not have had a defining cape-fall this year, but that’s not to say it was completely calamity free. As it turns out, Foals nearly missed the whole bloody thing. As drummer Jack Bevan has exclusively revealed on his Twitter, the band were running so late that they had to hop out and run down Blackwall Tunnel under the River Thames, hitch-hiking their way to The O2 for the awards. Luckily, a kind soul offered them a lift. As it turns out, said kind soul also “owns TGF pizza in Eltham, SE9.”
“if his pizzas are as good as his getaway driving,” says Jack, “i would definitely recommend.” Find out for yourself by ordering one here.
