Foals return with new teaser video

Foals have returned with a new, 12-second teaser video, featuring no more than two seconds of new music.

Short but no less gripping and terrifying, the teaser shows Yannis Philippakis and co. bouncing off the walls in a small room, before breaking into a blink-and-you-missed-it coda of explosive new music.

It’s enough to make anyone go ‘FUCKING HELL FOALS ARE BACK, SOUND THE SIREN’.

The follow-up to 2013’s ‘Holy Fire’ is expected to come out later this year. In a recent interview with Q, Yannis said: “We felt that the spread on ‘Holy Fire’ was good but on this we wanted to push it out even further, so the extremes were further apart. The heavier songs are heavier, the poppier songs are poppier and weirder.”
