Foo Fighters have announced a huge London show

They’ll play at the O2 Arena in September as part of the venue’s 10th birthday celebrations.

After killing it at Glastonbury on the weekend, Foo Fighters still have a pretty busy festival season ahead of them, where they’re set to play Rock Werchter, Open’er, Mad Cool and more.

They’ll show no signs of slowing down though, as the legends have announced a show in London. They’ll be playing a show at the O2 Arena on 19th September (just a few days after the release of their brand new album ‘Concrete And Gold’) to celebrate the venue’s 10th birthday. Now that’s a birthday present!

Dave and Taylor shared the news via an announcement video, where they lounge on a double bed and reminiscence a bit about good times at the O2. Brian May and Roger Taylor got up to play with them, with Taylor on lead vocals, and he apparently shit the bed. Hopefully not that bed. It looks pretty clean.

Tickets for the event go on priority sale to O2 customers at 12pm today (28th June).

Watch their announcement video below.

Foo Fighters will play Rock Werchter (29th June-2nd July), Open’er (28th June-1st July) and Mad Cool (6th-8th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
