Hello Wembley?
Foo Fighters hint at possible Wembley Stadium return

Foo Fighters hinted at a possible return to Wembley Stadium during the first night of their intimate run of club shows.
The band played Brighton Concorde 2 last night, in the first of three proposed gigs in tiny venues across the country this week. During that show, according to NME, Dave Grohl cited Wembley Stadium when explaining the band’s decision to take to club dates.
Playing as The Holy Shits, Grohl is reported to have said: “I seem to remember years ago we played this club and it was also hot as balls. When we were asked to come over and play the Invictus Games on Sunday I thought ‘we haven’t played in the UK in years, and I thought we’d try to play gigs like this pretty much every night we’re here until we have to go home. And it gives us a chance to see your faces before we play that week at Wembley Stadium.”
Tonight sees the Foos take to a second club gig, at London’s House of Vans. Initially the band promised three intimate dates this week, leaving one more that’s yet to be announced.
Their eighth album, ‘Sonic Highways’ is due out on 10th November, arriving alongside an HBO documentary.
