Foo Fighters line up ‘Sonic Highways’ DVD & Blu-Ray release

Earlier this week, Foo Fighters announced that they’d be headlining this year’s Glastonbury fest and now they’ve confirmed plans to release their recent TV series on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Their eight-episode HBO series ‘Sonic Highways’ saw the band document each step of their journey to create their eighth album. With each show set in a different city, the programmes contained an array of artist interviews which all related to the particular album track created in that studio. Now, they’re expanding the whole thing, adding in unseen footage and extra interviews, and releasing it out into the world.

The band will release their deluxe DVD and Blu Ray sets (along with a digital release on iTunes) on 7th April.

The band are currently touring Australia and New Zealand before heading to Europe for a string of stadium shows including two nights at Wembley Stadium. Their upcoming UK shows are as follows.
