Foo Fighters share ‘In The Clear’ video
The ‘Sonic Highways’ track was recorded in New Orleans.
Foo Fighters released their eighth album, ‘Sonic Highways’ earlier this month, and - as has been well-documented - features eight songs recorded in eight different cities, each featuring a guest with some link to the location.
So there’s Ben Gibbard on ‘Subterranean’, as recorded in Seattle, Tony Visconti helping out on New York’s ‘I Am A River’, and Zac Brown stepping in on ‘Congregation’ in Nashville.
The band have just shared a video for ‘In The Clear’, the track whose live telly debut was made recently on the Ellen show. ‘In The Clear’ was recorded in New Orleans, and features famed locals the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. So fittingly, the video was filmed in the Preservation Hall from which the troupe take their name and where they’re based.
Foo Fighters head out on a massive world tour next year, taking Brits Royal Blood along for the ride, including two dates at Wembley Stadium in London.
