News Foo Fighters to ‘reopen’ Madison Square Garden this month
Fully-vaccinated fans can attend the first full-capacity show at the venue in over a year.
Foo Fighters are to ‘reopen’ legendary New York City venue Madison Square Garden this month.
The band will play the first full-capacity show at the arena since March 2020 on 20th June.
“We’ve been waiting for this day for over a year,” frontman Dave Grohl said in a statement. “And Madison Square Garden is going to feel that HARD. New York, get ready for a long ass night of screaming our heads off together to 26 years of Foos.”
Fans will have to have proof of being fully vaccinated to attend.
The date comes ahead of the group’s rearranged 25th anniversary celebrations, which begin this summer.
