Forest Swords shares ‘Congregate’ and ‘Free’
Proceeds from the single are going towards disaster relief in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

It’s been a few months now since Merseyside producer Matthew Barnes, better known as Forest Swords, released his latest album ‘Compassion’.
He’s now shared two brand new tracks, ‘Congregate’ and ‘Free’. Both were recorded during the album sessions for ‘Compassion’ back in early 2017, but strip away the beats for a more meditative, contemplative approach.
Proceeds from the tracks are helping to go towards ongoing and future work in wake of Hurricane Maria hitting Puerto Rico and this month’s earthquake in Mexico.
As part of a massive tour of North America and Europe, Forest Swords will be touring around the UK next month. He’ll head to Bristol, London, Brighton, Leeds and Manchester along the way. Tickets are on sale now.
