Frank Ocean and Lana Del Rey cut from Brian Wilson’s new album
The Beach Boys founder has dropped them from the tracklist.
Brian Wilson has shared the details for his latest album ‘No Pier Pressure’, out on 6th April via Capitol Records. The release was expected to feature contributions from Lana Del Rey and Frank Ocean, but the revealed tracklist shows some high-profile omissions.
Frank Ocean was expected to appear on ‘Our Special Love’, while Lana Del Rey was set to feature on ‘The Last Song’. The confirmed contributions include Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward (as She & Him) for ‘On The Island’, fun. frontman Nate Ruess on ‘Saturday Night’ and Kacey Musgraves on ‘Guess You Had To Be There’. The full tracklist is as follows:

‘No Pier Pressure’ was produced by Joe Thomas, who reprises his role after producing the Beach Boys’ 2012 album ’That’s Why God Made The Radio’. The deluxe edition of the album will feature the three bonus tracks ‘Don’t Worry’, ‘Somewhere Quiet’ and ‘I’m Feeling Sad’.
