Fraser A. Gorman shares video for ‘Shiny Gun’, starring Courtney Barnett

Fraser A. Gorman has shared a video for his recent single ‘Shiny Gun’, the first preview of the Australian’s debut album ‘Slow Gum’. It stars Courtney Barnett, Gorman’s label buddy who co-founded the Melbourne-based Milk! Records.

Directed by Sunny Leunig, the Anchorman-inspired video features Gorman and Courtney Barnett as two of four Canberra news journalists sacked for being “unprofessional.” During the last night of airing, Gorman waters a chicken, Barnett refuses to read the sports stories, and Davey Lane creates yet more misery by announcing that tomorrow it’s going to rain.

Fraser A. Gorman will perform at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival over this weekend, with shows happening on the 14th and 15th of May around Brighton.

Fraser A. Gorman will release his debut album ‘Slow Gum’ on 29th June via Milk Records/House Anxiety/Marathon Artists. Watch the video for ‘Shiny Gun’ below and pre-order the album here.
