Fresh Touch Plan ‘The Ethiopian EP’ For February

Fresh Touch have announced details of an EP set for release next year.

‘The Ethiopian EP’ comes from the duo’s (consisting of producers Richard Russell and Rodaidh McDonald) trip to Ethiopia in 2010 as part of a musical and cultural exchange.

During their visit they met with local Ethiopian musicians and chose the capital Addis Ababa and the medieval walled city of Harar as the places of inspiration to record their collaborations. The results of these sessions were sampled and re-worked into brand new pieces of music, which make up the EP.
