Funeral For A Friend release video for ‘1%’
The track is taken from the bands seventh studio album, ‘Chapter and Verse’
With a new album, Chapter and Verse out early next year, Funeral For A Friend have debuted their video for ‘1%’.
Inspired by “the news reports around the financial crisis hit and the anger at the banks and financial institutions that lined their own pockets off the backs of the hard working average individual,” ‘1%’ is a hard-hitting slab of frustration, with a video equally as effecting.
Having found a home in their live show over the summer, ‘1%’, alongside the previously released ‘You’ve Got A Bad Case Of The Religions’, sets expectations for ‘Chapter and Verse’ high. Recorded in just two weeks with Lewis John, Funeral For A Friend have described the recording process as “an absolute joy”.
‘Chapter and Verse’ is released through Distiller Records on 19th January, 2015. Watch the video for 1% below.
