Future of the Left plan fifth record ‘The Peace & Truce of Future of the Left’
The band are raising money through PledgeMusic to help fund recording of their next full-length.
Future of the Left have confirmed plans for a forthcoming fifth record, and are currently raising money to help fund its recording through PledgeMusic.
Following on from their previous effort ‘How To Stop Your Brain In An Accident’, the band are aiming to release ‘The Peace & Truce of Future of the Left’ in March next year.
According to their PledgeMusic campaign, “the songs are written” - with more on the way - and the quartet have already booked sessions in Monnow Valley for the album’s recording, where they’ll be working with Ant Chapman, who’ll be heading up recording duties. They’ll then aim to release the record to Pledgers on 25th March, before following it up with a general sale on 1st April 2016. They’ve also said that “there will be a mini-album” too, just for extra Future of the Left goodness.
The band will also be giving 5% of any money raised after their goal is reached (which, you know, has already happened) to Shelter. So, it’s a win-win for everyone really.
The band have already reached 185% of their target, but if you fancy getting involved or simply reading more about the record, you can see their PledgeMusic campaign here.
