Gallows, Sharks & Straight Lines Added To Slam Dunk

Slam Dunk has extended its bill even further to include the likes of Gallows, Sharks & even more.

Gallows, Sharks and Straight Lines are amongst the latest bands confirmed to play this year’s Slam Dunk Festival.

Other acts confirmed in the new wave of additions include Capdown, Random Hand, Misser, Acoda Our Time Down Here, Neil Starr and Hildamay.

They join the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Every Time I Die, Mayday Parade, Forever The Sickest Kids, Made Do And Mend, Cancer Bats, Architects. The Blackout, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Hit The Lights, The Story So Far and Lower Than Atlantis, who have already been confirmed to perform at the two day festivals.

The last round of acts announced included Canterbury, Marmozets, Charlie Simpson, Into It. Over It. and Shane Henderson (of Valencia).

Slam Dunk Festival 2012 will take place at both Leeds University and Hatfield’s University Of Hertfordshire on the 26th and 27th May, respectively.

Slam Dunk have also revealed details of two side shows; one set to take place in Wales and one in Scotland. Full details are as follows.

Slam Dunk Wales takes place at Cardiff University on Monday 28th May. Doors are at 5pm and the line-up, so far, is:
Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Cancer Bats, While She Sleeps, Of Mice & Men, The Audition, Don Broco & Straight Lines

Slam Dunk Scotland takes place at Glasgow O2 ABC on Tuesday 29th May. Doors are at 6pm and the line-up, so far, is:
Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Cancer Bats, Hit The Lights, The Story So Far

Tickets are priced at £22.50 and can be purchased now.
