Listen Gallows unveil new track ‘Leather Crown’
The band are gearing up to release ‘Desolation Sounds’ on 13th April.
In the lead up to the release of their new album, Gallows have unveiled another song to be taken from it.
Following on from their first cut from the album, which landed in the form of ‘Bonfire Season’, the four-piece are streaming ‘Leather Crown’, a hardcore assault which sees aggression and harmony paired up with chugging guitars.
“Leather Crown is our hardcore opus,” the band’s Laurent ‘Lags’ Barnard has said. “It’s fast, progressive and hits like a ten tonne hammer.”
The new track gets taken from ‘Desolation Sounds’, which will receive its official release on 13th April through Venn Records / Play It Again Sam, and marks their second album with former Alexisonfire guitarist Wade MacNeil at the helm.
Co-produced by Steve Sears at Titan Studios, ‘Desolation Sounds’ follows up Gallows’ 2012’s self titled effort, which was released after MacNeil replaced original vocalist Frank Carter. ‘Desolation Sounds’ will also double as the band’s first album without guitarist Steph Carter, and follows on from last years single, ‘Chains’.
