Gerard Way performs ‘No Shows’ on Conan
Way takes on late night US television with a scuzzy rendition of his first single.
Gerard Way is currently out on the road in the US celebrating the release of his debut solo album ‘Hesitant Alien’ but in between shows this week, he managed to find time to swing by US television show Conan, to give his first late-night performance.
Taking to the stage for recent single ‘No Shows’, the former My Chemical Romance frontman blasted through a scuzzy rendition of the track, complete with that salmon-coloured shirt and striking blue suit.
The performances comes just a handful of weeks before the singer returns to the UK for a short run of tour dates, but don’t fear if you’ve not got tickets yet: he just announced a huge run of European dates (that include shows at London’s Brixton Academy, Birmingham’s O2 Academy and Southampton’s Guildhall) set for early next year.
