Everyone’s invited to Giant Party’s debut track, ‘Where Have You Been?’

As far as introductions go, few come more personality-crammed than Giant Party’s debut track.

The London four-piece’s self-produced opening gambit has the character of an alleyway-lurking haunt. Ghoulish vocals - not far removed from early Wild Beasts and Field Music - are belched out. A stuttering synth line traces its steps, clattering drums trade blows with spike-embellished guitars. There’s a constant threat that something sinister lurks around the corner with ‘Where Have You Been?’ - always a bonus in the stakes of a crafty, creepy pop song.
