Giorgio Moroder and Britney Spears’ cover of ‘Tom’s Diner’ emerges

The cover of the disco classic appears on Moroder’s forthcoming album Déjà Vu.

Having previously shared Kylie collaboration ‘Right Here, Right Now,’ and title-track ‘Déjà Vu,’ which he made with Sia, the so-called founder of disco is on a roll. Ahead of the release of his first album in 30 years, another Moroder track has made its way online, and this time, the special guest is none other than Britney Spears.

Taking on Suzanne Vega’s 80s disco classic ‘Tom’s Diner’ - which takes its name from the real-life diner that features in cult comedy Seinfeld - Britney Spears vocals go a bit android for the occasion, auto-tuned to the max against taut, signature-Moroder synths.
