Girl In Red shares new track ‘i need to be alone’
Her newest track was inspired by a time of frustration in her life.
Norwegian singer-songwriter Girl In Red - aka Marie Ulven - has shared her latest song ‘i need to be alone’.
Following on from last year’s ‘Chapter 1’ EP and her more recent releases ‘we fell in love in october’ and ‘watch you sleep’, her newest track was inspired by a time of frustration in her life.
“I wrote ‘i need to be alone’ one night when I was really frustrated,” she explains in a press release. “I was thinking about how much time I spend on things that doesnt [sic] matter, and having this weird feeling of guilt that I wasn’t living my life. There’s so many things happening all the time and it’s kinda hard to keep up, I just wanna pull away from everything and be alone.”
Girl In Red is also out on tour at the moment. Check out her upcoming tour dates, and listen to ‘i need to be alone’ below.
