Glaive shares final pre-album single, ‘the car’

Hyperpop sensation glaive has released the third and final single from their forthcoming debut album, ‘i care so much that i don’t care at all’ (out on 14th July via Polydor Records). The track, entitled ‘the car’, also comes accompanied by an Adrian Vilagomez-directed video - the last instalment of a trilogy shot in Georgia which includes the videos for previous releases ‘all i do is try my best’ and ‘as if’.

The video sees glaive in a literal getaway car, trying to escape as he and a friend are pursued by a baseball bat-wielding gang. Of the track, he says: “‘the car’ was one of the only songs I didn’t write from my perspective but rather from the perspective of a friend who was cheated on. I had made so many songs for the album that I was running out of personal emotions to express, and I wrote this without full context of the situation but how I would imagine and interpret it”.

glaive will hit the road this summer to celebrate the release of ‘i care so much that i don’t care at all’, including dates across North America, the UK, and Europe.
