Glass Animals have shared very good song ‘Season 2 Episode 3’ from their second record, and no, that’s not a reference to Netflix binges of Orange is the New Black. The third track of their second album (so sort of like episodes and seasons, then) it’s ‘How To Be A Human Being’s weirdest, romantic ballad moment.

“My girl eats mayonnaise from a jar, when she’s getting blazed,” sings Dave Bayley atop jaunty little organ-plunks, and a skittish beat that follows nonchalantly behind like a hand trailing through ice-cold water. Cookie coasters, heads screwed on backwards, and “left over breakfast and cereal for lunch” - it’s typically surreal stuff from Glass Animals.
