Glastonbury announces Slaves and Fat White Family for Shangri-La bill
Experimental corner of the fest is themed on ‘Politics, Sholitics’ in 2015.

Glastonbury has announced the bill for its Shangri-La area, the festival’s go-to hub of all things out of the ordinary.
Rob the Bank and Craig Charles have been confirmed for late night DJ appearances. Slaves and Fat White Family are amongst the bands set to play. See the full line-up here.
The theme for Shangri-La 2015 is ‘Politics, Sholitics’, building on this year’s general election. “This year’s story aims to help people connect with the political process and demonstrate that politics can be for them and by them,” reads the blurb. “After the flinchingly realistic horrors of last years Corporate Hell, this year Shangri-Hell has been occupied. Every office has been taken over by some of the 99% desperate for change. Each Nano-venue has become a political party, and everyone here has a point to make. There is nothing too silly or too serious to be said, there is only the process of activism, the skies filled with banners, the streets packed with protesters and placards.”
Glastonbury 2015 runs from 24th-28th June at Worthy Farm.
