Glastonbury Festival will put on an official David Bowie tribute

They’ll be screening the late legend’s 2000 Worthy Farm set.

Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis has announced that there will be an official tribute to the late David Bowie at this year’s festival. Following his passing in January, fans had already planned to hold a ‘mass singalong’. Now, there will be a screening of Bowie’s iconic performance at the festival in 2000. Bowie headlined the Somerset festival for the final time 16 years ago. It’s frequently hailed as one of his greatest shows of all time. Speaking to Radio X, Eavis said “yes, we’re doing a film of his set from the year 2000. “It’s going to be shown on one of the screens when the stages are shut down. We’ll show the entire set.” In other Glastonbury news, the final headliner is set to be announced next month.
