Graham Coxon to share previously unreleased solo album 'Castle Park'; drops lead single 'Billy Says'

Graham Coxon has revealed that he’ll be releasing a never-before-heard solo album - ‘Castle Park’, recorded in 2011 - on 19th June via Transgressive.

Originally laid down during the same sessions as his 2012 LP ‘A+E’, with the intention of releasing it as a successor to that record, ‘Castle Park’ was then put on ice as Coxon’s attention turned to Blur and other projects.

Now though, he’s releasing the 10-track collection for the first time as part of a comprehensive reissue of his solo catalogue, which spans nine studio albums (the last of which was ‘A+E’) and three original soundtracks (‘The End Of The F***ing World’ parts one and two, and 2021’s ‘Superstate’).

As part of this rollout, Coxon’s first two solo albums, ‘The Sky Is Too High’ (1998) and ‘The Golden D’ (2000), will also be re-released on 19th June.

What’s more, he’s also just announced details of a special career-spanning headline show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 28th November - what will be his first full-band performance in over ten years. Tickets will go on general sale at 9am BST this Friday, 24th April here
