Hello, Cleveland!
Green Day plot first gig in over a year
The band will appear at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH this month.
Not sure we’ve ever read “This is not an April Fools’ Day joke” in bold on a press release before, but here goes. Green Day have announced details of a one-off gig - their first in just over a year.
They’re set to make their return at House of Blues in Cleveland on 16th April, with tickets on sale from 10am EST today for members of the trio’s ‘Idiot Nation’ fan club, and 10am EST tomorrow for everyone else.
Support will come from New York singer-songwriter, Jesse Malin.
Green Day’s last albums were the ‘¡Uno!’, ‘¡Dos!’ ‘¡Tré!’ trilogy, released at the end of 2012. They broke London’s Emirates Stadium attendance record in June 2013, before headlining Reading & Leeds festivals the same year.
