Hajk share dreamy, synth-heavy new track ‘Keep Telling Myself’
It’s taken from the band’s new album ‘Drama’.
Last we heard of the Norwegian five-piece Hajk, they were sharing their soaring track ‘Untouch’ back in February. Now, they’re back with a new one - the delightfully synth-heavy track ‘Keep Telling Myself’, which we’re premiering on DIY today.
‘Keep Telling Myself’ marks a slightly more upbeat direction than the band’s previous release, but comes with a darker meaning under all that shimmering, woozy pop goodness. The band’s Preben Sælid Andersen told us of the track: “’Keep Telling Myself’ is actually a pretty dark song about trying to convince yourself that love still exists – not just between two people, but in general. This is also a sonic leap for us, containing a variety of sounds that we really enjoyed exploring.”
‘Keep Telling Myself’ is taken from the band’s full-length ‘Drama’, which is due out next year on 15th February via Jansen.
