A couple of months on from the release of their debut ‘Weird Little Birthday’ album, Happyness are continuing their run of form by putting out a new EP, ‘Anything I Do Is All Right’.

Mostly serving as a preview for the UK trio’s forthcoming shows in the US (including New York’s CMJ), the EP’s out now. It contains the following, newly unveiled track, ‘When You Wake Up’, which captures the sleepy, stoned centre of the band’s debut, clocking in just under the two minute mark, just in time to put the snooze on for another ten minutes.

Recently while speaking at Reading Festival, Happyness told DIY about their excitement at touring the US for the first time. “It’s really exciting, a lot of our influences are from the States and New York specifically. It’s going to be nice to be there. As humans we’ve been to New York before - as musicians, never,” said guitarist Benji Compston.

Meanwhile, this October Happyness stick to the UK for a handful of shows.
