Hear Foals remix ‘Palace’ by Wild Beasts
Track is taken from an extended edition of Wild Beasts’ five-star rated ‘Present Tense’ LP.

Wild Beasts’ ‘Present Tense’ ended up as the most resoundingly disputed omission from this year’s Mercury Prize nominations. The band’s fourth LP picked up a five star rating from DIY earlier this year, and it’s set to gain a further release in the form of a special edition.
Added to original cuts is a string of remixes, including previously shared cuts from Berlin producer the Field, Factory Floor and Lone.
Further to this, a new Foals remix of closing track ‘Palace’ has just been unveiled, spanning over the six minute mark and absorbing the sweet atmospherics of the original.
There’s also a string of remixes from Juan Atkins, SOHN, Steve Moore and Dirum.
‘Present Tense’’s special edition is out 13th October via Domino, with Foals, Juan Atkins, SOHN and Steve Moore remixes being made available on a separate 12” white label edition of 500.
Wild Beasts are also putting on a special ‘Soft Palace’ event in Leeds’ Canal Mills, 11th December. East India Youth, Evian Christ, Fryars, Forests Swords and Nathan Fake are all set to make an appearance.
Here’s the tracklist for ‘Present Tense Special Edition’ disc two:
01 Wanderlust (Factory Floor Remix)
02 Wanderlust (The Field Remix)
03 A Simple Beautiful Truth (Lone Remix)
04 A Simple Beautiful Truth (Dirum Remix)
05 A Simple Beautiful Truth (East India Youth Remix)
